Over the many companies I’ve worked for directly or as a freelance/contract worker, I’ve created many pieces of search engine optimized content. The following are examples of the kind of writing I can help create:

Yahoo! Finance press release
This press release was part of a backlink strategy for this University’s graduate program account.

Car Dealership locally optimized comparison page (archived, broken CSS)
This client had a previous SEO campaign that focused on national keywords and attracted 90% of the traffic to those pages from outside the targeted sales area. I replaced those pages with a new strategy that targets local users. I also used a new bootstrap theme to make the page mobile-friendly without using a table.

Griegersmotors.com/black-friday.html (404 error now)
I suggested to this client they have evergreen sales pages for their yearly promotions that could be updated as the sales are finalized. This page became the #3 page in traffic for the entire website during the month of November.

How to Unload a Truck or Container without a Loading Dock
While working at this company, I wrote and published this how to guide that focused on how the company’s products are used to solve a customer’s problem. It quickly became one of the top 5 pages of the website and helped generate lots of new sales.

What Does Google Autocomplete Think About Your Sport? (archived)
While working at this company, I wrote a fun piece of content to include in the company’s newsletter. The tone was much less sales-y and gave our company a way to connect with the target audience of high school coaches.

How to Make Your Own Gel Ice Pack or Moist Heat Pack (archived, broken CSS)
While working at this company, I had to fill in as the blog writer after our in-house content manager quit and it took almost half a year to fill the role. During this time, I wrote two of the top 10 blogs in terms of most traffic. This one was so successful, it was rewritten with a physician in the byline.
